THE MAINS THINKING ROOM

Useful practice starts with trustworthy material.

Sources before claims

Our guides use the site's PYQ library, syllabus topics and relevant current-affairs references. Exam questions are displayed separately from original practice prompts. A connection to the syllabus is a study angle, not a prediction of the next paper.

How the guides are prepared

Guides are AI-assisted. A writing pass develops the explanation and worked applications; a separate automated review checks grounding, usefulness, clarity and overlap with existing pages. We do not claim that every article has been manually reviewed by a human expert. Automated checks can miss errors: verify important facts against the linked original sources.

Publish when useful

We hold back drafts that fail our checks. Dates reflect publication and substantive revisions. We keep existing PYQs accessible and connect guides to relevant questions and study resources rather than create near-identical pages for every search phrase.
